  1. Client Services Manager

    Status: Currently accepting applications for an immediate start (mid - late 2019)

alt. Marketing is a small marketing and design agency in Christchurch NZ and we’re on the lookout for a new team member to help with our recent growth and to compliment the skills of our current team.

We’re looking for a new client services manager to work with us for 30-40 hours per week. As a client services manager at alt. you will primarily be responsible for acting as a liaison between alt. and our clients to assist with us meeting our mission:

Getting sh*t done!

You will also be responsible for:

- Ensuring client satisfaction and project fulfillment

- Effectively communicating with clients, understanding their business and project needs, and assisting our designer to meet their requirements

- Analysing client questionnaires and gathering additional information when required

- Acting as a creative assistant and working collaboratively with the alt. team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently

- Assisting with marketing plan implementation - Coordinating with alt. team members to gather images, logos, stats and content to use in various creative projects

- Consulting with clients and recommending/offering alt. services to help them reach their marketing goals

- Following alt. processes and procedures and carrying out relevant administrative duties

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with outsourced agencies/third parties

- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

- Tracking project performance

- Performing other related duties as assigned An ideal applicant will have:

- Proven working experience in client services

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

- Excellent time management skills - Initiative - Experience with or an interest in marketing

- Excellent computer skills An ideal applicant may also have:

- Experience with Adobe products, primarily photoshop and illustrator

- Design experience

- Marketing experience

- Experience with digital marketing

- Administration experience

Pay rate will be based on experience

2. Videographer / Photographer

Status: Accepting applications for a late 2019 / early 2020 start date

Requirements:

Be a nice person and have some experience shooting and editing videos, ideally you’ll have some equipment

Job Description:

1. Shoot and edit photo and video content as required for both alt. and alt. clients (following alt. videography and photography processes).

2. Determine what camera equipment is necessary. All equipment will be the property of the videographer but can be purchased through alt. and paid back via a payment plan (out of your weekly wages).

3. Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.

4. Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.

5. Support the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to client.

6. Help to sustain and guide creative process.

7. Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards.

8. Work closely with the marketing manager to execute the concept through to completion.

An alt. videographer should demonstrate:

3. Graphic / Website Designer

Status: Accepting applications to start early 2020

Job Description:

1. Responsible for the design, layout and development of graphic design projects or websites, following alt. processes

2. Provide maintenance and updates of existing sites

3. Identify the type of content the site will host and establish the purpose of the website based upon its target audience

4. Using SquareSpace as a platform and determining any functionality that the site must support, for example, whether it will handle financial transactions or inquiries

5. Give guidance on layout, colours and styles and general design aesthetic

6. Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials

7. Work collaboratively with current and future alt. clients, using their brand assets and referring to their client profile

8. Plan concept by studying information and marketing materials

9. Illustrate concept by designing draft layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts

10. Obtain approval of concept by submitting draft layout for approval

11. Prepare final layout and complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc

12. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
